Bonny Albo is a single parent, freelance writer, and dating expert extraordinaire - but not necessary in that order. With a custodial newborn son, non-custodial tween daughter and daily writing deadlines to meet, her time to meet new people and date is limited (like most single parents). Through this dating with children blog, Bonny hopes to share some of her personal experiences with single parent dating as well as insight into the how’s and why’s of making it work not only in theory, but practice.

Bonny currently writes for About.com as their Guide to Dating, and is the former Dating Feature Writer for Suite 101.com (she now writes for their Entrepreneurs topic instead). She has also ghostwritten numerous dating books and articles, and has answered hundreds of reader questions about dating, mating and relationships.

Being a single parent can be a challenge. Trying to meet people and date successfully while parenting might be a bit much to ask! Yet, millions of single parents date every day.
